The Golf Club at Southern Pines was established in 1906 with the beginning construction of nine holes designed by the world-renowned golf course architect, Donald Ross. The additional nine holes were added in 1912 to complete this links-style layout, which has been largely untouched to this day. The golf course winds its way through pristine longleaf pines and brilliant, colorful azaleas. Wonderful conditions complement the signature traits of Ross with undulating greens and creative bunkers. After more than 100 years, Southern Pines Golf Club continues to deliver a thrilling experience for its many players. |
