The property that is The Country Club at Whispering Pines has a unique feature with great diversity between the courses it has to offer. The West Course will remind you of a “northeastern country club” with it's elevation changes, towering oaks that line the golf course and overhang the greens. Beautiful lakes and streams come in and out of play throughout most of the back nine. The West is not as demanding as the East, but requires playing good golf as does most courses in order for a score at the end of your round. Smaller greens and less playable rough make tee shots a premium on this course. The legendary Ellis Maples, a Donald Ross prodigy, designed both courses with the ability and talent to create multiple themes on one property.
