The Island Course is one of four 18-hole championshiop courses that Innisbrook Resort has to offer. At 7,300 yards, the Island course is almost exactly the same length as it's more famous sister course the Copperhead Course which has hosted many PGA Tour events. Although it is slightly shorter the Island course has been deemed by many to be the more challenging course. The layout features tight fairwans, beautiful eleveation changes and dangerous water hazards. Most of the front nine borders Lake Innisbrook and several lateral water hazards withl the middle part of the golf course is known for its rolling hills and towering pine and cypress trees. The Island Course's signature hole is the par 5 seventh, which requires strategic shot making around Lake Innisbrook and then a very undulated green that will test any golfers skill. Resort is a Stay and Play property. Must stay at resort in order to play courses
