Black Mountain Golf Course sits at the foot of beautiful Black Mountain Range and is only seventeen miles east of Asheville. Established in 1929, the front nine was designed by Donald Ross The 6,215 yard par 71 course is home to the famous 747 yard, par 6 17th hole, at one time the longest hole in the world. Black Mountain offers challenging holes, but very playable for all skill levels. The traditional layout, with tee boxes positioned close to the greens make the course enjoyable to play whether you walk or ride. |
